NAOKO PALUSZAK Artspan VL Artist of The Day

Art is about having a “sense of mystery and drama”

Looking to evoke new concept and not just have art serve a decorative purpose, in a natural inconspicuous manner, the artist bridges the abstract and figures masterfully.

Naoko’s solitude abstract figure with her vibrant color palette evokes strong feelings and memories to viewers. Her use of probing evocative directness to the moment is compelling.

She was educated at the Nihon Designer Gakuin (Japan Designer Institute) in Tokyo, Japan. She worked as a graphic designer before moving to the United States. Almost immediately, her unique style garnered impressive awards and a Grand Prize from international competition held at Ariel Gallery in New York, NY.   Hailed by critics and museum curators for her style and her vibrant palette, she has exhibited in numerous one and two person shows. Her originals are sold extensively through galleries in California, Arizona, Florida and Hawaii.  She is included in Art in America’s Guide to Galleries, Museums and Artists and The Marquis Who’s Who, Who’s Who in the South and Southeast.- (Resources/ Gulf Coast Times, FL / Lahaina Galleries, HI)
