VL Magazine Artist of the Day is Logan Bauer

L. BAUER SPENT MUCH OF HIS ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL YEARS OVERSEAS. HE TOOK HIS FIRST PAINTING CLASS IN LONDON, ENGLAND AT THE AGE OF 13. UPON HIS RETURN TO ARIZONA HE CONTINUED TO TAKE ART CLASSES AT PHOENIX COLLEGE AND ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY, WHILE HE PURSUED OTHER PROFESSIONAL GOALS. IT WAS NOT UNTIL RECENTLY THAT PAINTING STOPPED BEING A PART TIME ENDEAVOR OR HOBBY AND BECAME A FULL TIME COMMITMENT

"Painting is a huge part of my life and I try to work several hours each day. Surrounded by sea it is natural to be influenced and inspired by such changing beauty and this I try to capture in my work. I paint in oil, acrylic, pastel and mixed media and my subjects vary according to my passion at the time.
