It never occurred to Dena Wenmohs to ask permission to do anything, whether it was riding her horse into a grocery store when she was 4, running a ranch alone after becoming widowed, or creating a painting using no greys. She is passionate about her family, art, ranch, friends, and the big skies of Texas and all that is beneath them. She owns The Bunkhouse, an art workshop and retreat facility that is a magnet to other artists and keeps her fully in touch with the art world and inspires her to create more, learn more, and paint more. She is a painter, mother, grandmother, sister, rancher, friend and environmentalist.
